Basement Soundproof Studio-Arlington Heights, IL

As a professional musician with small children, we needed to build a soundproof rehearsal space/studio in the basement of our 115-year-old house. Without a lot of room to work with, Pat thoughtfully planned out a room. Not only did he research the latest in the soundproofing, but he also creatively devised a plan to leave natural light with windows that could be covered with custom “plugs” to dampen the noise as needed. Pat added a few finishing touches that we hadn’t even thought of with beautiful wood detail and installed custom instrument racks. Pat is personable, knowledgable, up-front, and honest. His work was clean and professional as were the other workers that he brought in our home. The project was completed on time and on budget.

Pat designed and built three custom furniture pieces for our older home. Each one was just as stunning as the next. The first was a bathroom vanity designed and built for two farmhouse sinks. The second piece is a large oversized desk made out of reclaimed wood. The last piece was a bar height walnut table for our kitchen. Each piece has become a conversation piece in our house, always noticed by our guests for their custom look and fine finishes. Pat rose to the challenge of each one of our custom requests. His woodworking skills are apparent in the quality.
